Do you think that a single parent should be allowed to adopt children? Consider the financial situation and wellbeing of the children because it would be rather difficult if the children were raised with a poor parent. Regardless of the cons, many people believe that if a single parent is ready to adopt a child or children, they should have the right to do so. Would it be fair to the children to only have one single parent? I think the adoption agencies should do a thorough check on the background and financial situation that particular parent is currently at, which I'm almost positive that they do.

What is your opinion on this situation?
I think they should be allowed to adopt; I think that if you adopt, the government sends you a check for tax breaks or/and they give you a monthly check.
Who cares if single parents can adopt or not? It's their own choice. I don't give a damn what their decision is as long as it doesn't affect me.
WHO CARES IF THEY ARE SINGLE OR NOT. If the child will be in a loving, caring, household then THAT IS ALL THAT COUNTS. Let's see...leave the kid in horrible foster care, or put them in a loving home. No question what to do.
