I think Ron Paul is a Log Cabin Republican... That's what I think.
Ummm... pardon my political phrase noob-ishness, but does that mean he's backward?

You could say that. A "Log Cabin" Republican is a term used to describe a branch within the Republican Party made up of moderates and one of their mandates is equality for Homosexuals.
The Log Cabin Republicans (LCR) is a federated gay and lesbian political organization in the United States with state chapters and a national office in Washington, DC. The group consists of gays and lesbians who are supporters of the Republican Party. The organization has long been formally committed to supporting gay and lesbian civil rights.

Ok I understand now.
Yeah, Libertarianism doesn't say that the state should mandate which sex can marry which sex, so far as I can tell. Which is good, considering that individual rights are protected and the freedom to choose a partner is promoted by the Constitution and by Libertarians.
Supposedly, Ron Paul didn't get enough votes in the Yahoo! Bix election. I was rather shocked when I saw this because I expected Ron Paul to at least be up there with the rest of them. If the elections were held today, supposedly Hillary Clinton would be victorious.

Who knows though, really. CNN had an internet poll where Paul got into the 80% range, and they took it down after a day.
Yeah, these news outlets seem to really fear him for some reason... can't handle the freedom, LOL.
I think it's actually funny that his biggest fan group are internet users but he voted no against net neutrality.
Ironic how he fights for less government and more freedom, but not on this...
Well the thing about Ron Paul is he supports the privatization of things in order for the consumer to have the say in what occurs in what particular area, but I've seen an interview of him where he is unsure about this topic, I'm guessing because of his age, most of his aides do his internet work. If I find it, I'll put it up.
