Do you think that women should be enlisted in the military? I'm not saying that they shouldn't because I believe in equality but many view it as a risky move. For example, if a woman in the military endangered herself and was captured by the enemy, many would believe that the men would try their absolutely hardest to save the woman from any danger. Obviously, many view it as courageous and it simply makes that/those particular man/me look good. Due to that action, the entire strategic plan could perhaps fail simply due to those men's action. In addition, the majority of men are heterosexual. Their thoughts could possibly wander off into romance and they could allow themselves to be weakened in war due to their attraction to women. It could also not be intentionally because it could still happen even though they force themselves not to. Like I previously stated, I am not against women being in the military but others may think otherwise.
What do you think? If no, what role should women play if they were allowed in the military?
Women should be in the kitchen doing the dishes.
"Women should be in the kitchen doing the dishes."
Get real.
I believe that women should have the choice. Personally, I would rather not. I'm much better at mind games and the such.

Maybe the silliest post on the entire board. Just ignorant.
Of course they should be allowed in the military. They can fire a gun as easy as anyone else and are just as qualified.
Yeah women should be in the military. They play a vital role now, the military would literally fall apart of all our enlisted women were suddenly gone. I'm female and thinking of doing ROTC while I go to nursing school. They pay for everything and you owe the miltary 4 on up to 8 years of your life when ya get out. Sounds like a good deal to me.
If a woman wants to be in the military and defend the country, God bless her, because I sure am not doing it and a lot of men out there wouldn't either.
Yes, the whole "they're not capable" argument is ridiculous if you just set the same bar for everyone. Sure, more men will be qualified, but some women will make it as well.
Has anyone who has an opinion on this ever been in the military? Just curious.
I dont understand why they would want to be....but if they want to be, let them. might get some stuff sorted out. If all the world was run by women, it would be a way different place.
