I have not yet watched this show but simply from the storyline of the television series, I'm going to consider watching this. However, it hasn't been advertised while I was watching television so I found out about this television series from this thread. I may borrow, rent, or purchase the DVD.

Doesn't much appeal to me, I've seen the commercials and even a '' In the Making'' special. So what? Its about business men who smoke in every scene and have sex a lot?

Sex is implied, yes. It's a good show, the ads don't say ANYTHING as to what it really is like. I'd say at least watch one show and see.

Will do, seems to be the ideal time frame to set a tv show in, too.

Surprisingly, the social dynamic in the late 1950s and early '60s isn't that much different from today. A lot of the same issues are addressed. The only thing is that in the '60s things were just being pushed to the surface more.
Today, I think that's still the case. Only I feel we've gone a bit far. I like the idea of a more structured society, even if that's only true on the surface. That might make me a hypocrite but I don't care. Things were a lot better when certain things weren't put out for public debate. What's the need? People did what they wanted, regardless!
That is my opinion anyway.
