Which of these two Democratic Presidential Candidate is the best to win the Presidency? They say that Obama is good because he is a brilliant individual and would bring about many different reforms; yet, he is very young and lacks a lot of experience. On the other side, there is Hillary, but would Hillary be President or Bill? Which candidate is the better of the two? Which one should become the single candidate to become President?
I am really confused for this 2008 elections and it makes me glad that I am not old enough to vote yet. Obama is not really experienced, but he recently said that he would take our troops out of Iraq and into Afghanistan and Pakistan where all the real terrorists are (which i agree we should be doing). Hillary is just too liberal, yet Bill Clinton and his experience are the parts of the package that comes with her, so she has the best advisor.
Nobody in the South will vote for any of these two, and I think Obama has the biggest chance.
I wouldn't want to see a Democrat President. But if I had to say who I'd like better out of Obama, or Mrs. Clinton. I'd say Edwards.

Clinton is a hypocrite. She talks about equality for women. Yet, her husband went after everything with female anatomy! (Including a Canadian Member of Parliment.) She stood back and did NOTHING. Why? For the sake of her political career?? She's an inspiration to Modern females? Sit back while your husband dicks around like it's 1958!? Please! And really, Bill won't do anything. She won't allow it. He's not Nancy Reagan, or Eleanor Roosevelt...

Obama is Black. The only place you will see a black president is in the movies or on 24! Sorry but really, the "Black thing" is still an issue in America. I just don't see a Black Commander In Chief anytime soon.
I don't think that the nation is not ready for Obama as a whole, but I do think that there is a significant part of the nation that is still sort of hard pressed and racist. However, I think that the man is saying a lot of stuff people want to hear after President Bush. He was not a very good domestic President and the man is talking a lot about Domestic things. He was not a good Foreign Affairs President and Obama is talking a lot about moving the soldiers to Afghanistan and stuff like that. He's saying what the people want to hear, that much is for certain. I don't think he'll win, though, because of his religion. People are still afraid of Muslims.
I am somewhat. I admit it.

Member of the United Church of Christ since the 1980s. Obama's father, while born into a Muslim family, had become atheist by the time he met Obama's mother, the secular Ann Dunham. Despite propaganda being distributed to the contrary, Barack Obama, the Senator, was never a practicing Muslim, and never attended extremist or Wahabbist madrassas.
yea, Obama's Grandfather was Muslim, he was even brought up in a Muslim Country, but he's Christian or Catholic or whatever. He is anything but Muslim. He supports Israel in the War which pretty much means, he lost the muslim vote. It's how Bush won over Al Gore....
I don't really want another Republican President, because as everybody knows Republicans spend and spend and Democrats save and save, and i think our current president has spent a little too much...
Anyways, I'm against the War too, so i guess it has to be Obama or Clinton. I'm fine with either. I personally don't care about president's personal life, because i am not a nosy little bastard, and i wouldn't care if Bill had sex with 1000 different woman, but either one is fine for me. However, Obama is young and JFK was young too.....
I think Hilary and Obama will be great presidents.
They both have great chances of serving two terms as President if elected.

I like Obama simply because he seems very enthusiastic and has new insights that other candidates probably would not have. He is very charismatic and full of life and that is important in building confidence and hope with the people in not only the United States and other nations too.
Although young and relatively inexperienced as of right now, he has a lot of potential and could bring needed change and inspiration to the U.S. The citizens morale does not seem at its highest right now with the war and all.
Every politician has started their careers with some inexperience but they eventually learn and understand the field better as they continue to work. Obama is no different. He has a lot of potential.

Hilary would be a solid candidate too. With her own ambitions and ideas she will not be overpowered by former president Bill Clinton. She has a great mind that will probably good for the country. How else would she get into the position she is right now without that flare, ambition, and intellect. Her position and ideas on what would be good for America are certainly valid with the amount of experience she has. And I doubt she would allow anything in her personal life to interfere with her job as president, which is a positive.

Both Obama and Hilary seem like individual thinkers and probably would not be too heavily influenced by their political parties. This is good as the president is serving the people and the country rather than the political party.

Right now I think Hilary would be a better president as she has experience regarding how to run and lead a country. I think Bill Clinton would be a positive rather than a negative as he has been a two-term president after all. His knowledge of what it is like being a president is invaluable.
Ron Paul 2008. WHOO!
Sorry, seems out of place in a Obama/Hillary topic. XD
But, unfortunately I think Hillary will win, Democrats think they're getting Bill and Hill, two in one deal. But, with the way Bill handled Somalia, and Hill voting for whatever was popular at the time, I see disaster ahead of the republic.
I have to argue with you David. Hillary isn't a hipocrate. So she wanted to save her marrage? What is wrong with that? So he cheated, he was still a very good president. Morals don't seem to count for much in politics.

I was very impressed with both of these canidates watching them debate a few weeks ago. I think that, either one would help this country out far more then any of the republicans have in the last 8 years. After all, I live in Montana, a red state and we voted out nearly all of our republican elected officals that hang out on capital hill. Including Conrad Burns.
Neither one. Hillary disagreed with half the [censored] that Clinton did. I thought Clinton was a pretty decent President, and the whole Monica Lewinsky deal didn't really bother me that much...that's his personal life. As far as the Presidency goes, I'm not even sure to be honest. Nobody is really that strong of a candidate to me...
