We do waste a lot of money on military. We are fighting guys that live in a desert in huts that don't have running water. We don't for the most part need hi-tech military for that. The money spent on military imho is because of the powerful lobbyists. Do YOU know where all that money goes? It's a major portion of our income tax that's spent on "defense" yet Al-Q hit us with $2.99 razors from home depot. We need to be smarter not more armed.

I have to disagree. Money spent on our defense is certainly not wasted. It seems that Mr. Obama certainly left no defensive stone unturned in his desire to disarm.

We spend way too much of weapons, it's a good policy.
That being said, a very, very stupid thing to say. This is why I don't trust him in the general election.
If McCain uses that in a tv ad he could see a permanent boost of a few % points.
