I gotta talk for a sec about the 9/11 conspiracy theorists that believe it was an inside job. I take great exception about these remarks and I 100% the true story of the events to be an Al Qaeda plot. For the title "Truth Movement" they have never produced any real facts that dispute the official story. They rely instead on information that's withheld or unknown. There has been not one single shred of evidence that contradicts the official version of that day.
Anyways want to chime in their opinion?
I've heard some of their arguments and the arguments are pretty stupid. I debated with one person online once who believed the government was behind 9/11, and she insisted that the reason the buildings collapsed was because the government had placed bombs in them. Um, maybe it was because some planes crashed right into them? It's just people being paranoid.
It was space aliens that hate tall buildings... The conspiracy theories are inane.
I just love how they say the dumbest SOB on Earth (G.W.), somehow pulled off one of the greatest events in our Nation's history, without anybody seeing anything.
So which is it, my Liberal-looney friends, IS G.W. the dumbest boob on the planet, or mucho diabolique?
The so called "truthers" are a witless bunch to be sure. They have been debunked time and time again and yet they maintain their fantasy stories for what seems to be little more than the reaction they get for making such idiotic claims.
Yes, I feel very strongly about this. I have a degree in structural engineering and there is no way the WTC was in any way a controlled collapse. It looks like it was, indeed, a controlled collapse because the Towers were originally designed to fall in upon themselves. If they had toppled, they would have taken out God only knows how many other buildings.
And what is the ONE thing that will compromise steel?
Fire.
You have a jet full of aviation fuel hitting the tower at over 400 miles an hour. The resulting inferno, the combination of heat and fire, compromise the steel support system.
Had the Trade Towers been designed any differently, the death toll in Lower Manhattan would have been probably upwards of 20,000.
The damage to the Pentagon was obvious, and the crash of flight 93 in Pennsylvania was also quite obvious.
I may be a tree-hugging, pro-choice, bleeding-heart liberal, but facts are simply what they are: FACTS.
9/11 was no "cooked up" government conspiracy.
Just my view here, is all, and presenting the facts as I know them.

Well, at least the doubters now have the President of Iran on their side. That should spell volumes for the credibility of this 'truth'.
Are you kidding? have any of you looked into this subject even a little bit? or are you just all sitting there like mindless robots eating up what your government is telling you? How can you even begin to debate this before you go and examine the theories that are presented to you? if you had investigated this, even a little, all of your posts would read quite differently I think...
You guys need to watch a few films. I would recommend the first one be "loose change 2" not the final cut, you need to see some of the distrubing facts presented in this second version of the movie, before I will even attempt to have a serious disscussion with any of you. what is worse, you are unfortunate enough to live in america, I dont have to put up with all this incredible whitewashing, I just get to see it, as it really is looking into the mayhem that is the collosel cover up of 9/11.
