Well...some of you may know me as the founder of DF. However I am really just a debate buff that loves the deep thought debates I hope to have here. I live in Las Vegas, have 4 kids, married, and pretty much stay at home with my kids and work online.
My political views vary but I consider myself a conservative (not a neocon or a Republican). I would probably be considered somewhere in the middle by those that aren't polarized by todays politics. I am not religious yet I can certainly side with right-to-lifers. I am a conservative yet I do see a need for some of our social programs. Let's save the bulk of the debates for other threads though.
I just want to say hello and this is me and this is my site. I hope you enjoy it.

Glad to meet you Labrocca. I just joined the site today in hopes of some nice thoughtful debates. I finally found time after a few years of busy, busy, busy to join another debate site, and I hope it will be as much fun as the last ones I was a member of.
Labrocca, in regard to the political debate, it looks like you and I would be perfect mates on the sea-saw.

My main interest is politics and I am more than elated that the Dems are tearing themselves apart by their disparate special interest groups who are only welded together by their desire for a socialist America and nothing else.
All this BS they have been feeding America about tolerance, equality and how they want to prop up folks who have been oppressed in this country is all bunch of pablum. This has never been clearer than how their own primary is shaking out. This is an illustration of how their power hungry agenda will stomp on the faces of the people who they claim to care about the most.
I hope finally the American people will see the Democrats for the political charlatans they are.

May I also add I am in the park with preserva as far as the Democrats go. This party has become a disgrace. I used to hang out on the left, but as W. Churchill so insightfully recited (ad-lib) " If you're not a liberal in your twenties you have no heart. If you are not a conservative in your fourties, you have no brain."
