Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) will not back a moratorium on Congressional earmarks despite growing interest among House and Senate Republicans — as well as the House Democratic leadership — in a one-year freeze on the practice, aides said last week.

There was so much bluster about how the Democrats would bring back accountability to Washington and how much more transparent a government they were in charge of would be that I find this quite ironic.

This is why electing Hillary is going to be the worst decision the Dems could make. She is no different than Reid or Pelosi. The status quo is what many Americans are hoping to change with this election cycle. The GOP at least has secured McCain which imho is more into accountability than most politicians.

I have a question. What are they hiding that they need money for?
