Should Suffrage be Granted to 16 Year Olds?

There are teenagers that are politically aware concerning issues and the presidency, however they're unable to vote simply because of the age restriction. Due to the 26th Amendment, it lowered the age requirement of franchise from 21 to 18. Many people disagree with the idea saying that many teenagers aren't aware of what's truly going on and they could make dull and imprudent decisions, meanwhile other teenagers present themselves as educated individuals desiring to vote. Nonetheless, they could simply encourage individuals and their guardians to vote on certain candidates.

Do you think that an amendment should be introduced and ratified to grant the minimum requirement to suffrage from 18 year olds to 16 year olds?
It's fine at the age of 18; I'm sure that people can wait two years. It should stay at the same age that people have to register for the draft, plus, changing the age for voting is not something that is important to the majority of sixteen year olds and most politicians. Therefore, it seems unrealistic that such a bill would have much support and be passed.
