If you haven't heard about this film yet you probably will soon enough. It's a 15 minute short created by a Dutch leader of the Party for Freedom in the Dutch Parliament.

It's being protested and the Dutch government is censoring it's release. Recently Network Solutions removed the sites hosting upon complaints the material was offensive.

Without viewing the content I am unable to comment on the video BUT I will say any video released that criticizes Islam shouldn't be shelved because it doesn't paint Islam in a positive light. The Dutch are fearful of repeat riots similar to the ones from the Dutch Cartoons that caused major disruption.

The protests now though are from the Dutch themselves which have become fearful of it's muslim population. It's a shame imho.

Supposedly much of the material is simply statements and clips from muslims compiled together with background music.

Just watched it at youtube (search fitna). The video is powerful. While it may not be a fair representation of Islam it is certainly one filled with real images and words. Everything in the video is simple the actions and words of actual extremists. Wilders should be proud of his work. It might open a lot of eyes to what the world is dealing with here. Radical Extremist Muslims are growing in number and they are not cast out by mainstream muslims. Instead they are embraced. This is the ultimate shame of Islam imho. Instead of course they will go after Wilder for creating a piece that shows Islam in a negative light. They should instead be protesting the extremist elements in their own society.

Anyways....that's my take.
