Hey Pook, I have to admit, this one doesn't make much sense. (boogy ducks) The is no mention of the Devil really until later in the text.

The devil did have an influence AFTER creation was completed as he was instrumental in tempting Eve who in turn tempted Adam. Both fell to the temptation.

Doesn't matter, you still are saying that the devil is behind science regardless of it being in a question. You have burden of proof on you because you made the claim in thge postive that the Devil is behind science by default.

And it is possible for religion and evolution to coexist peacefully. It doesn't necessary have to be 100% one or the other.
