Here's how the "Fairness Doctrine" came to be:

Quote:Our massive strategy was to use the Fairness Doctrine to challenge and harass right-wing broadcasters and hope the challenges would be so costly to them that they would be inhibited and decide it was too expensive to continue.

Bill Ruder
President John F. Kennedy's
Assistant Secretary of Commerce

What a coincidence you have touched on this suibject. I ran across this little morsel the other day while researching "progressives" That's what liberals are calling themselves now in case you haven't heard. Once you read it you can ask yourself as I have............ hmm progessive eh? Seems the more things change, the more they stay the same.

They're not "progressive," they're regressive. They want to regress us back to the days of 1917 and the Communist Revolution in Russia.

This "progressives" movement being a new phenomenon at least to me personally, is Socialist elitism at it's most glorious. They strive to subvert the Constitution using it to define human behavior. It is intent to set the standards for things like tolorance, dignity, and what America and Americans should be. BIG "RED" FLAG!!
