So recently, California passed gay marriage.
What do you think about gays being able to marry as soon as NEXT WEEk? (officially june 17th, but counties can actually start june 14th)

Any thoughts?

Being in California...it is all we hear about. Even on the morning radio shows people get pretty heated, even comparing gay marriage and rights to blacks and the civil rights movement, women's suffrage, and we've heard comparisons to "beastiality" (not sure I spelled that right) or even comparing gays to petifiles. (saying just because they can't help they're attracted to the same sex doesn't mean it's right. example: petifiles cant help that they are attracted to children, doesn't mean it's okay.)

What are your thoughts?
Furthermore, what do you think about having children involved?

I have heard many different arguements on this, but everyone stutters at the raising children part.

should gays be able to adopt children?
is it a good enviroment for a child?
wat are you're thoughts on artificial insemination for gay couples?
Are you for or against this why/ why not???
1. Gays should be able to adopt children because a gay home is better than any state provided home.

2. It's a great environment for the child because the child is loved, which is the most important part of raising a child.

3. I think that if the couple can afford the practice of insemination, I say go for it.

I think that gay rights shouldn't even be debated. I don't see where there is a question. We don't debate the rights of Christians, or Republicans, or people who've been divorced. I think that once people get past the gender of those who comprise the family, they will see just that... a family. And protecting families is the foundation of American values. Not just your family, or my family, all families. All units of love, nurture, and respect.
