I'm a little confused on whether Jews are referred to as the followers of the religion or people from the area. If it's the place they came from then what's the difference between them and Israelis.

Well as far as i know, India is more than 80% Hindu and China was supposed to be more than 50% Buddhist until Communism came and now most of them are Atheists.

You asked a question about why Jews call themselves a culture and I answered. Although my answer was somewhat incorrect, it was the general gist of it. No need to make it personal.
I'm sorry if it looked a little personal, but i meant no personality of it at all. I just saw your post and thought that the way it was worded implied that China and India became mostly Christian. Since Christianity already comprises of over 40% of the world, if what you said was true, it would make it 90%. Just saw it was a little crazy. Sorry if you thought it was personal.
