What? No "equal rights amendment" needed? As for your being upset with apportionment as it's specified...would you favor more elected representatives, or simply dividing up the population into equal segments for the ones we have? Since you think two Senators per state is unfair...how would you revise the senate? Or would you abolish the two house legislative branch in favor of some other kind of representative system?

I say that the Senate should be like the House - since California is more populated than Wyoming it should have more representatives.

Spirit if the Senate were like the house the representation afforded states would be completely out of balance and we would be in a situation that could be considered "taxation without representation," and we all know where that leads.
