Quote:WASHINGTON — The Obama administration said Friday that the United States would accept Iran’s offer to meet, fulfilling President Obama’s pledge to hold unconditional talks despite the Iranian government’s insistence that it would not negotiate over the future of its nuclear program.

Humm? We are allowing them to put conditions on talks?

That's bullcrap.

Quote:The decision to engage directly with Iran would put a senior representative of the Obama administration at the bargaining table, along with emissaries from five other nations, for the first time since Mr. Obama took office.

I'm not 100% opposed to some kind of talks, but this is only months after a fraudulent election in Iran. How do we legitimize this government when there is still some solid opposition to it within Iran?

This is not the time.

NO surprise this comes out on a Friday.
Why does Iran need to negotiate regarding a legitimate nuclear program? Surely talking is better than amassing the US fleet in the Black Sea?
Right. It just raises more questions doesn't it?

We should keep the door open for Iran to go legit, but I see no reason to compromise on key issues or coddle them in anyway.
