When driving a vehicle, do you think that people should be able to use the cell phone or do you think it should be against the law to do so? Those who argue that cell phones during driving are dangerous believe that it causes many accidents and that it's extremely hazardous in our society nowadays. However, there are those who argue that cell phones are necessary during driving because they're able to contact people in a time of need.

What do you think should happen?
If it is a time of need, then yeah, go ahead to allow someone to use their cell phone. But, I really don't think calling your girlfriend and telling her that you are going to stop by the grocery store to pick up dinner is entirely necessary. I just don't see the importance in doing that WHILE driving. I think that you should not be allowed to use your cell phone while driving unless you have a head set. And, since head sets are getting cheaper and cheaper, I don't really see the problem. Holding a phone means that you only have one hand on the wheel and it is naturally safer to drive with two hands. And even if someone only does use one hand, if the other hand is in their lab or on the shifter, at least the hand can quickly be used to grab the wheel. If you're holding the cell phone, how can you do that? So, I think that cell phones should be illegal to use while driving.
Let people use cell phones in the car. Most people can handle it and those who don't will most likely get pulled over by a cop or thrown in jail for hitting someone. Use it at your own risk.
