I know big business has a big hand in politics, but this seems over the top. My question is, are the three branches of government really this out of touch with each other and the public? If not do you think the presidents reaction "feigned"?

Court green-lights corporate election spending

I don't really have an answer to your question, but it seems the Supreme Court has made its decision and we will have to live with it.
There is no changing it in the immediate future, so that is the choice we have.
Let's see what happens.
