Do you guys remember the fresh prince of DC's rhetoric about how horrible no-bid contracts are and how he would end them once and for all?

Despite President Obama's long history of criticizing the Bush administration for "sweetheart deals" with favored contractors, the Obama administration this month awarded a $25 million federal contract for work in Afghanistan to a company owned by a Democratic campaign contributor without entertaining competitive bids, Fox News has learned.

The contract, awarded on Jan. 4 to Checchi & Company Consulting, Inc., a Washington-based firm owned by economist and Democratic donor Vincent V. Checchi, will pay the firm $24,673,427 to provide "rule of law stabilization services" in war-torn Afghanistan.

The conservatives should be happy. It's our answer to Halliburton. What, are they upset?
Oh, dear.
Pfffttt. Yet another OMGWE'REGOINGTODIE rant from the right.
**Yawwwnnnn**
Next? Halliburton?
Let's hear [censored] Cheney squeal, shall we?
This is too funny! LOL!
Purrs and laughs,
Pookie
YOW!!!!
D*i*c*k* Cheney, the PROPER USE OF HIS NAME, was CENSORED?
That is his name.
I cannot spell the proper name of MY former Vice President without being CENSORED?
Wow.
Just wow. Someone needs to fix this.
Hisses,
Pookie
Pointing out that Obama is not the messiah and is actually a lying politician is a rant? What a completely idiotic response to a very clear and simple article. Mr. Obama is NOT the messiah, he is NOT The One, he IS a lying dirtbag politician who just happens to hold to socialist/Marxist views as a bonus for the left.
Who ever said he was the messiah?
And how many contracts did Halliburton get in Iraq and that wasn't dirty? Or was that ok because it was YOUR guy, eh?
Interesting double standard. Just another froth and writhe from the right.
Purrs,
Pookie
For it to be a double standard, I would have had to claim that Bush had said he would not do no-bid contracts and then did them. This is not the case. Bush never made such a claim, Obama did.

Now, once you have assigned space in your frontal lobes to process that fact, we can press on without further silliness. I have no problem with no-bid contracts, but I do have problems with a president who campaigned on them being evil and then turns around and does exactly that. Hypocrisy is spelled obama these days.
