Defense Secretary Robert Gates and Adm. Mike Mullen say they support an end to the military's controversial 'Don’t Ask, Don't Tell' policy. Do you think it's time to repeal it?
- I think NOT! The policy is great as it is.
In answer to your question, yes. Soldiers and sailors can conduct themselves properly no matter the circumstances. If they cannot, they need to be kicked out.
That simple, and yes. It is definitely time to do away with that and trust our troops to act in a professional manner, as they have always, unfailingly, done, except for a few incidents in which there were NO GAYS involved.
NO GAYS were involved in violent crimes and issues within the US military.
Yes, itis time.

There is no reason a homosexual should not be able to fight to defend our country. Patriotism knows no boundaries I say. To ban gay's outright from the military is no different than to, oh say, banning african-americans , mexican-americans, or any other "minorities". To keep the door for discrimination open is toeing a line that we should be moving away from. IMO.
There is absolutely no reason to repeal this other than the desire of the liberal radicals in our government wanting a talking point.
So you don't even recognize the fact that gays can and do serve our country without bending over and asking....well, you know.
They fight the same way we do, so get over it.

Who said they cannot serve? That is just a stupid argument given you in the daily DNC brain dump. The fact that they are homosexual should be kept to themselves.
Liberal ideas need to stay in the smallness of the liberal conscience.
