This is absolutely my opinion, it doesn't matter how safe you make America, if you damage liberty and the freedom of mankind, it can be irreplaceable.

I think it's the principle that counts. If the freedom we stand for as a nation gets taken away then what kind of example is that? We stand for freedom, so let's not take it away.

Well I'd rather be free then binded by the regulations of the US. We will all eventually die, so I rather die free or get killed by a terrorist with freedom than live a life as an over-protected subject of this government. As long as I can do whatever I want, then I don't give a damn about security. Plus we need war to regulate the population of the earth. LOL!

The only thing I see so far is just that Bush is listening to CERTAIN PEOPLE'S phone calls. If there is a suspected terrorist, that means they will listen to those people's phone calls. If you are not a terrorist, you have nothing to worry about.

In addition, people, stop thinking selfishly. This whole phone conversation thing is for the greater good: to protect others. If you think individuals are more important than the safety of others, I don't know what to say to you.

Also, this isn't going to stop no matter what party you pick. I don't care if you think that honest Ron Paul is going to stop it or if Giuliani is gonna continue it; it's gonna stay. CIA doesn't take orders from anybody and it will be that way for a long time. JFK tried to stop the organization and look what happened to him.
