Assuming that Hillary Clinton will win the Democratic election, and win the overall presidential election, do you believe that Americans are truly ready for a female president? Obviously, all the previous 43 presidents, including George W. Bush, being all males, do you think that many people would oppose Hillary Clinton simply for being a female? It may sound sexist but that's how some American minds think.
A lot of the females I've talked to about Clinton don't want a female president. They claim women follow emotion more than logic, which men are more likely to do.
I personally don't care, as long as it's not Clinton.
I feel like there are many women out there who are wonderful leaders. Emotion or not, that is how most people, not just women, function. Something fires them up and that is emotion. As a woman, I don't want to vote for someone who has none. Emotion, even anger, shows that something angered them and is worth fighting for, man or woman. And I know a lot of men who have no common sense.
Yeah, well Yoda says that anger clouds one's judgement, so Hillary's not getting my vote. LOL :)
But, seriously, I consider an individual's voting record before voting for them, and I am at odds with Hillary's in a BIG way, so I won't vote for her. Others will, though (unfortunately).
I was using anger as an example. I don't know if I want either a Republican or a Democrat in office. I'm leaning towards independent since I figure both parties are screwing us over right now.
No, we are not ready for a female president or a black president. Those kinds of people will kill this country into the ground. You can go ahead and vote for them.
As much as I'm not voting for Hillary or Obama, what do you mean by "those kinds"? Women and blacks? Explain yourself, if you please.
America is a superpower, and it should not be run by people of lesser dominance in society.
Umm, it has been, ever hear of a millionare?
"lesser dominance"

Excuse me?
