I say 100% yes and my reason is - WHO CARES. It does not affect me and my life, so if two people are in love, let them get married, live together, and etc.
LOL! You..., how can it not affect your life?

The homosexuals are spreading their ideas and tainting this world. Their impure sins are going to affect everyone in this world.

Your kids might fall victim to their sins, and your friends might fall victim to it too, so how can you say it doesn't affect you? This is about the future of mankind, this is about society, this is about the world.

Well done, Mr. Joker!
You've made Hitler look like a mere lapdog in comparison whilst discussing homosexuality. "Tainting", boy. straight out of Mein Kampf, my Nazi Germany professor would be amazed! So "sinning" should be mandated and controlled by the state? Not by the free will that God has granted us? Sir, this is not a religious debate, this is the legalization of gay marriage, not a platform on how sinful gay marriage is. I've already said it is sinful, but what sins other people commit is of no concern to me. Jesus said " Take the log out of your own eye before commenting on the splinter in another person's eye".

What do you mean other people's sins are no concern to you? Do you not care if "other people" kill others? That's a sin. Do you not care if somebody robbed a store and shot the owner? That's a sin. Saying you don't care for the sins of others is a pretty selfish thought to me.

In addition, it's not really a "sinful" or a "religious debate" as all of you call it. It's a disease and must be stopped. Since I know you are very politically oriented and uphold the constitution in high honor, Mr. Ireland, please tell me that the federal government has the right to prevent something like this.

You've made Hitler look like a mere lapdog in comparison whilst discussing homosexuality. And to that I say, Cheers my good man. Grab some vodka from 7-eleven tonight. I'll meet you up at 8.

You see, the problem with that is. It IS a religious/conservative debate. If it wasn't, no one would be arguing at all. If you have no religion, then what exactly would drive us to oppose it so strongly? I'm sure that President Bush had his reasons for opposing it, but alas, this whole democratic government is flawed, and therefore we're seeing more of these homosexuals on the streets even though the vast majority are either opposed to it or indifferent. I dare ask you what your opinion on immigration is as well? Let me guess. We SHOULDN'T be protecting our borders from the Hispanic flood right?

The reason I'm opposed to homosexuality is the same reason I'm opposed to immigration. Sooner or later, more Hispanics are going to breed and gain more influence until we get overpopulated. And then what? Some states will then shift in power. We will lose our influence and soon, we will be run over. California itself will become a Zergling colony filled with maggots, Overlords, and all the like. And we're not going to stop them.

The same could be said about homosexuals. Let's take two homosexuals for example. What if they adopt a child? How do you think that child is going to feel when he goes to school that today, only to talk about how he has two fathers instead of one? Of course, he's going to be looked down upon. Of course, he's not going to make any friends at all. And sooner or later, that child is probably going to commit suicide due to all that humiliation. Hell, I'd probably do it too.

So I guess when your children turn out to be homosexual, you'd be perfectly fine with that. Because it is of no concern to you at all. Of course, your relatives and family might look down upon you and your kids, but ah! What bother! Who needs family?

Killing people directly ends an individual's life, homosexuality is a sin, not a federal offense. Just because something is sinful doesn't give you the right to make it a crime. Homosexuality doesn't involve me, but if I was killed, then it would involve me. Until you bring independently verified proof that homosexuality is a danger and an illness in America, I see no reason to make homosexual activity illegal.

1. Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.
2. Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.
3. Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.
4. Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.
5. Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britney Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.
6. Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.
7. Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.
8. Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.
9. Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.
10. Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

That is exactly what I meant. Mr. Ireland, how dare you say this soiled concept of homosexual marriage is not going to affect your life?

Tell me do you want your children to be gay? Mr. Ireland your lack of knowledge on the situation of homosexuality is going to be the end of society. The gays are plaguing society with their corrupt activities, and they should be put to a halt.

We the future voters of America must cease this spread of wrongdoings and bring forth a Utopia for citizens. LOL!

Uh, Mr. Joker...If you couldn't tell, that entire post posted by Archer was full of sarcasm...
You meant what Archer said about gays, Joker?
I'm confused, you do realize that the list Archer put up is sarcastic, right?
Commenting on the stupidity of the homophobic wing-nuts?
And personally, I don't want my children to be gay. And I'll work hard to instill what I believe are good personal morals. But never will I support the state making homosexuality illegal, or whatever you people want. And never will I treat homosexuals, transsexuals, Jews, Muslims, or any other minority as inferior. Amish people are more susceptible to disease because of inbreeding in a tight-knit community, should they be shunned/killed/imprisoned? Things will sort themselves out, the democratic government of ancient Greece didn't collapse, even though they had more homosexuals, samurai in feudal Japan developed a homosexual relationship with their masters as part of the path of bushido, and was called shudo, yet their society thrived and prospered. Sort your own house before trying to correct others.
