If so, would you have the abortion law limited, for example, if the pregnancy was caused by rape or similar situations, would you still allow the abortion to follow through. Why? Abortion is wrong not because of religion, because murder is in the Ten Commandments, or any other of the excuses the neo-cons use to pander to their religious right. It's wrong because it is in violation of the Constitution, which protects us with the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. How can man protect liberty and the pursuit of happiness when their right to life is being violated? Life comes before the other two, and as such it must be protected just as fervently as we protect the Constitution and our rights as Americans. If a doctor kills a child during childbirth, or someone kicks a pregnant woman and kills the baby, they are held accountable for their actions. So should those that violate man's right and the rights endowed by the Constitution of the United States.

Let me tell you a story, a sort of chapter of my life. Heres how it goes, I go and bang this chick, and for some odd reason she thinks I am going to break up with her. For months she kept asking me if I was, and heres the thing, I WASN'T. So, we bang, yeah yeah, its all good times. Then guess what, she keeps getting paranoid, and next thing you know, she tells me she's pregnant. Now, I never saw the test, she said she just took it. But I take her word on it, and after a few days of heavy thinking and depressed feelings, we decide whats best for the baby.
You can guess it, abortion.
Through a series of holes in her story, I happened to find out the truth that she faked an abortion. Mind you, I figured this out a good year or so after she got the abortion. She faked the abortion, the abortion which had driven me into ten months of heavy drinking and doing drugs. Now tell me, you're in that same situation, would you TRULY want a kid with a mother like that? I wouldn't want anything to spawn as a result of that woman.
Abortion is choice, just like its choice to drink or smoke. You know what you are doing, and you are held accountable. While I highly suggest against it, I'd vote to have abortion remain legal. You know why? Because if that kid, if it was real, would have grown up with an alcoholic father and a mother who's fucked in the head. With that kind of combination, had the whole thing been real, I could have been the father of the next hitler.
Keep the abortion gates open. But limit it to a one time thing, it happens once and once only, so deal with it.
I think abortion is murder, regardless of religion, politics, etc. I think of it scientifically. At the exact moment of conception, where the father's DNA and the mother's DNA combine to create a truly unique and human DNA strain that has never before existed in the world, and never will again. This, at the very bottom core, is a human life beginning.
I only think abortion should be utilized in cases of rape and incest, or when the mother's life is 100% in danger. In cases where two people are VERY irresponsible, then its their own fault. Sex was meant to create kids, not just for fun. There are plenty of contraceptives out there, as well as education that is easy to get. Most doctors and wellness clinics, and I think (not 100% sure) planned parenthood clinics pass out free condoms and education on how to use them.
I have two close friends who got their girlfriend/wife pregnant and didn't mean to, but couldn't be happier or more proud of their baby girl/boy. Honestly, it's about being responsible when having sex. If you aren't, then you better learn to be with a child.
There is such a thing a adoption, children don't have to be "stuck" with a baby you weren't "planning on".

Let women choose for themselves. Abortion is nothing wrong and yes, I guess you can argue that a fetus is a "baby", but think about it. It's just a group of cells; it's not born yet either so it's not really officially a "human" yet. What it is are a bunch of cells. You can kill your own cells by doing drugs. What's the difference? The potential? Of what? Let the women decide. Seriously, all I see here is a bunch of men talking about what they think is best when it should be the women deciding.
As a woman I want to say that it shouldn't be left to men to decide. Right or wrong, I want the choice to be there in case I would like to use it. Whatever you believe, until you have to carry that child yourself then I don't think you honestly have that much of a say.
