Indeed, so. Colder weather is one of the effects of global warming. See

Yeah.....riiiiight!
LOL.

If you can jump from Global Warming to Global Freezing with such ease and propose the same solution for both I call BS!

The ice the melting; and with it will come the change in temperature of the ocean currents that generate the earth’s climate conditions. Just a small change in ocean temperature will affect the thermohaline conveyor leading to more harsh winter weather, reduced soil moisture, and more intense winds in regions that provide a significant portion of the world’s food production resulting in a dramatic decrease in the human carrying capacity of the earth’s environment. What nature is telling us is that we must stop polluting the atmosphere. If mankind is to survive, then it is time to stop quibbling and resolve to change our ways.

See article at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermohaline_circulation
So...decreasing our carbon footprint will do what...Both heat and cool the planet??
This is a hoax.
The question is inapposite. What is needed is to restore the natural balance. There is only a thin layer of ozone that shields the earth from the sun’s rays that is being depleted by hydrocarbon emissions into the atmosphere; and it is indisputable that man is a significant contributor to this pollution. We need to stop spewing man-made chemical emissions into the atmosphere in order to allow nature to heal itself. When you are dealing with the balance of natural forces, it only takes a little change to have big consequences. For example: a little mentioned aspect of global warming is the dramatic decrease in Antarctic krill; which is significant both for its role in regulating carbon emissions into the atmosphere and because it is at the base of the ocean food chain - not to mention a substantial commercial harvest. Krill feed on phytoplankton beneath the sea ice, and it is the melting sea ice due to rising temperature that has caused the decrease in krill populations. This decrease, in turn, will dramatically increase of amount of carbon emissions, exacerbating global warming and its effects. See article at:

What's your solution, banning carbon emissions?
Do you have any idea what that would do to every industry in America?
Banning cars?
If this would save the planet, why not, right?
Any of that stuff would be favorable to avoid certain Armageddon, which is what Gore and other weenies are predicting. Why not?

BTW, one volcanic eruption spews more of this "planet ending" gas into the atmosphere than all the cars driven in history.
Our contribution is negligible.

Also co2 only makes up something like 3% of our atmosphere...and this naturally occurring particle is going to destroy us all?
I don't know why I even bother with this.
The likelihood that the socialists can destroy capitalism with this hoax is passing, even with the indoctrination of young children is going to fall short.
If you want to blame any climate change on capitalism and our burning life supporting fuels go right ahead, but how to you explain climate change in the millennium when were weren't, or even of the face of the earth for that matter?

Carry on with your nonsense, and be sure to call a hazmat team when your CFC bulb breaks over your cornflakes.

It is not nonsense, it is a fact; and it is time for us to face facts. The polar icecaps are melting as evidenced by satellite imagery and the decrease in mass verified by scientific measurements in situ. There is nothing more to see but the consequences; which if something is not done, and soon, will be visited upon us sooner than later. Unhappily, many people are still in a state of denial about the problem; they simply refuse to see what is plain for all to see. For them, they will come to grips with the cold hard facts at the grocery store when they are fighting in the isles for the food on the shelves. Then will they be forced to see the reality of global warming.
My main problem with the Man Made GW issue is the left wing solutions proposed.
Increased regulation, increased taxes, punishing successful American corps who employ 100s of millions of people, taking away individual right by telling us what kind of car I can drive, light bulbs I can use, how warm or cool I can keep my home, burning our food to run our vehicles, and growing gov.

Control of the population, destroying private industry, and growing gov is what lib socialists want...that is why I'm very suspicious of all of this...let alone that the science behind this hoax has now all but been debunked.
What is it that you don’t understand? The test of science is not political correctness. There is no arguing with empirical evidence of the facts.

What I find difficult to understand is how anyone cannot be concerned about the environment. Is it not in our own self-interest to see that we do not pollute the air and water - the very elements upon which all life depends - and preserve the land and sea that provides for our existence? Can there be anything more important? And, what about the future? - Can we be so selfish as not to be concerned about the quality of life of our own children and grandchildren? What will be their inheritance? Will they see us as good stewards of that which we only hold in trust? - Or will they curse us for wasting their birthright? Can we be so short-sighted as not to foresee the consequences of our actions - or so callous as not to care? Apparently so.
If I don't sit and think too deeply about the subject, I tend to think it is a natural cycle... man induced or not. I think that the earth, and the whole solar system for that matter, is going to react to any action, and the reaction will cause other acts and reactions. This is the way it has been since the beginning of time as far as I have learned. So, I think things are probably going along as they are meant to.
Getting deeper into thought about it, I start to think that some of the things that happen or don't happen is because they are altered, and have been, and will be, and should be. To what degree is for the people that are a whole lot smarter than I am to figure out.
Meanwhile, I think that left without forced intervention, things will go along as they have... with alterations to evolution taking place depending on what help or harm the inhabitants of earth (and possibly the rest of the solar system) do... and what will be will be.. just as it was a billion years ago. And, so on, and so on. Perhaps a billion years from now, man will be walking on all four's again.... Or maybe God will decide to try his hand again and start over from scratch. Time will tell.
