The New Testament makes it pretty clear that sin separates you from God. Since all unrighteousness is sin, and the consequences are the same, how could one sin be worse than another? There may be more earthly consequences for a specific sin such as murder, but in the eyes of God and in light of the souls condition no sin is worse than another.
I don't believe everything the Bible says, and I am not really a Christian. I follow Quakerism and the central idea to that whole religion is that God has a direct link to every person. Because of this link, any kind of violence a person inflicts on another is also violence against God. That is why I think murder is the worst sin a person can commit.
Well, I am not exactly a Christian. In my path, we believe in a greater power. We believe that most "sins" are bad, and we believe we must make things right. Make sense?
In other words, we try to do right every day. When we foul up, we go to God to straighten it out. Then we follow His instructions on how to fix things. Does that make any sense? I can explain further if need be.

I think I know what you're saying. And while I agree that most of the sins are bad, I still think that some are worse than others.
