Eliot Spitzer
You gotta love this scandal. A Democratic NY Governor and sexual inpropriety with a prostitute.
Will he or will he not resign? |

RE: Eliot Spitzer
I think he will resign. Too many people are going to be pressuring him to do so (and rightfully so).

RE: Eliot Spitzer
I think he will resign, too. He needs to. I think that that would be the right thing to do in his circumstances.

RE: Eliot Spitzer
NY is weird though. It's so liberal that they might just let this slide.

RE: Eliot Spitzer
That is so true, NY is weird. But something like this, especially when he kept flouting the "ethics" thing during his campaign, might catch up with him and bite him on the butt. I really do think though, he'll resign. But I could be very wrong, so it will be really interesting to see what happens in this mess.

RE: Eliot Spitzer
I wonder what the fallout will be for Hillary Clinton since Spitzer was a superdelegate pledged to vote for her.

RE: Eliot Spitzer
I bet she's unhappy! Obama is probably ecstatic. I forgot Spitzer was a superdelegate -- thanks for the reminder.

RE: Eliot Spitzer
I find it interesting that the Clinton campaign has said practically NOTHING about Spitzer. Had this been an incumbent republican the outcry for commentary from a Republican senator in that state would have been deafening.
